Looking for an intelligent, independent man who is looking for a woman to share his life with because he wants to, not because he needs to. A good sense of humor is a must. A couple of items that I am going to throw out there right now so that no one wastes their time. 1. My INTENT is to find a life partner/best friend/lover. I am not looking to casual/serial date. I am not saying that I am looking to rush into a super serious commitment or settle, but if you are not looking for a meaningful relationship, don't waste either of our time. 2. I am not looking for a pen pal. If you don't see yourself ever wanting to meet me for whatever reason, don't waste either of our time. 3. Looks aren't everything, but we must both be attracted to each other. If you don't have a picture or aren't willing to email one, I won't answer. sorry. 4. (a biggie) I believe a long distance relationship can work for a short time - I don't care if you live a street, a state, or a continent away, - but in the end see 1 above. I will not leave Texas If you cannot see yourself being willing to move... if we were to hit it off(if you aren't already there), it won't work. 5. my time means a lot to me. I am willing to make time to get to know someone. That means I will skip a run after work one day or cancel a hike on the weekend to see you. If you aren't willing to do the same and you can only squeeze in seeing me on the 2nd tuesday after each new moon because you have 12 sports and 5 clubs that you are in, see 1 above.
