I am 54 years old. I am a nurse at a Veterans Administration Hospital on the Medical/Surgical unit. I love my work taking care of our veterans. I own my own home and property with a pond, or the mortgage company mostly owns it still as it's not very old; but I will sell it and move under the right circumstances. I am understanding, gentle, charismatic, articulate, smart,trustworthy and honest. I enjoy working outdoors, working with wood building things (my favorite tool is a pneumatic nailer), decorating, entertaining, or just sitting around a fire talking and laughing together. I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh and cut up. I've always loved horses even though I've never had one of my own; I do enjoy trail rides. Appaloosas and Paints are the most beautiful horses of all to me. I don't like drama kings or queens; I get enough of that at work occassionally. I am easy going until someone starts taking advantage of my kindness or becomes untrustworthy. I am a Christian and live my life accordingly. I consider myself a hard worker and dedicated to anything I do including a relationship. I am independent and a leader but will let the right man take the lead role even though I never give up my independence and leadership qualities. I believe if you can't be friends first, how can you be more than friends later. I look forward to meeting that special someone on this site; even if we just become friends.

At home, doing things together, sitting around a bon fire, grilling, talking and laughing, if raining, watching the rain strike the water in the pond while sitting on the back porch cuddled together. I enjoy vacations at the beach, in the mountains, going to amusement parks, historical sites, camping, river rafting, snorkling, boating or cruising on a ship. I like to experience new things also. I love to fly in airplanes, but don't know anyone else who does?
