I lost my wife a few years ago after caring for her in her last years, I'm finally able to get out of the house and I'm looking to live well and would love to spend the best years of my life with someone who understands. I like to travel, spend time enjoying the music I can find, and I hope to do some travelling again. I really enjoy the mountains, puttering around in the history of North Carolina, and sight-seeing again, as I did in my youth. I've got a dog Raven, who takes me for walks in the woods, fine friends, good company and good food, now that it's made somewhere besides the chow hall. Family, good friends and community keep me going. I have a nice church, nice country roads, and friends to keep busy and a good community that I get to serve now that I am retired.
