I am a young woman that enjoys life. I enjoy laughing, hanging with my friends and family, reading, working on my hobby and gardening( whenever possible) and traveling . I am a natural, easy going person who knows what she wants and is working hard at getting it. I do not play games and I am honest to a fault. I am very independent and sometime down right stubborn but don't let that chase you away because behind closed doors I am a very loving, affectionate and caring person. I am the kind of person that loves to make you laugh. I believe that problems can disappear with a great belly laugh (at least for the moment). I am a no drama, independent, confident and beautiful black woman and I am proud of that. I believe that family is the most important relationship you will have within your lifetime. I have been told that I have a weird sense of humor (whatever that means) but I find humor in everything. I tend to joke more and laugh more when I am worried about something as it is my coping mechanism. I don't think I have EVER gone a day without a laugh, it has kept me SANE in the crazy world. I have traveled some during my time in the U.S. Army and fell in love with it. I am currently trying to decide on my next BIG ADVENTURE. What I am looking for? I am looking for my BEST FRIEND. A man that isn't afraid of letting himself relax, who enjoys some of the same activities I do. I am looking for a man that can be my knight in shining armor and also my teddy bear. Someone that knows that sometimes all he has to do is give me a hug when I am having had a bad day at work to make everything alright. He must be understanding, compassionate, a great listener, sympathic/empathic. He can't be afraid of letting me be me and understands that each person needs their space and is not threatened by it. He must be family oriented and not intimidated when I spend time with my family (sisters, daughters, son, parents). I am looking for a man that is willing to put in the time to build a long, lasting, loving, monogamous relationship. Most importantly I am looking for a man that is comfortable with a strong woman and who isn't intimidated by her. if you are looking for a FWB (Friend with Benefits) then you are looking at the wrong person and you need to move on. My life does not revolve around the need to be someones booty call or any of that other nonsense.
