I am a well educated, interesting, witty person that you will never forget and find yourself wanting to be around. I like to have good clean fun, enjoy giving rather than always receiving. I love to make people feel better about themselves and I love to make someone smile when they feel they have no reason to smile. I take my job very seriously and have a special place in my heart for military and veterans. My dream is to become a nurse practitioner and work at a Veterans hospital. I love to sit and listen to elderly patients who were in the military relieve their great days and show me their pictures and see the sparkle in their eyes as they remember old buddies and console them when remember the friends that they lost. I treat every patient as if they were a member of my family. I respect others and believe I deserve respect as well. I have a good self esteem. I love to teach new nurses or employees and help troubleshoot problems with my co-workers.
I try not to bring work home and give my undivided attention to my family and friends. I am a crusader for animals especially dogs. I have two Pitt Bulls that are the biggest babies and don't know they are dogs so Shhh.....it's our secret. I believe in adoption rather than shopping when it comes to animals. I would have enjoyed being a foster parent, but, my home is too small. Although I can be tough and go toe to toe and nose to nose with an out of control surgeon, I also am very sensitive and empathetic. I believe looks are fading, but the heart and soul are forever. Judging people by looks alone would have kept me from knowing some of the most interesting and loving people in my life.
I may not support the decisions of our government, but, I will always support our military. I am a former Marine Corps wife so I am not unfamiliar with the life. I am loving, supportive, and considerate to a fault. But, I have no regrets.
