Trying to work on myself, but at the same time find a man who isn’t intimidated by a woman who is assertive. I am also very playful, but have been told that I am “too rough”… I can be extremely sarcastic once I get to know someone. I currently work with veterans on a daily basis, and I absolutely love it. Most of the veterans I care for and assist are just as sarcastic as Me, if not more… every time I go in I can honestly say I learn something new. I love to make people laugh, and can be extremely silly at times. I am currently working towards a double major…. Ask me… also I talk a lot… if you tell me something and I respond with a similar experience, that is my way of attempting to relate and show you I am listening and making sure I understand you correctly. I have ADHD, and sometimes it appears as though I’m distracted or not interested, but this is actually my way of showing that I am. People often misconstrue this. .
As far as what I am looking for… a friendship, maybe it will lead to something amazing. I will only tell you the must have qualities I need from someone…. Honesty, no matter how bad you think the truth is. I would rather be hurt with the truth than comforted with a lie. I might get upset, but I will get over it and move past it. If you lie to me I can no longer trust you. Respect. That’s a simple human desire. Someone who has patience…. Because l too have been through some things in my lifetime. I will forever be a work in progress; trying to be a better me than I was the day before. Communication is an absolute must for me. . Be willing to teach, but also to be taught. If I don’t know something or understand something, educate me… do not degrade me. Also I am talking about teaching each other how to be better people as well (good human beings).
